| Hey all - Recently replaced one of my 555 injectors, that had died. (infinite resistance when ohm'ing it out). The new injector from Coz had a purple top, as I've read here. However, the 5 old injectors, and the removed dead one, are sort of a grayish top. I am worried that there is some sort of mismatch, but the car has had an ASH ecu for 555 injectors for about two years (long before I bought it), and has no mixture/tune issues. Clearly, running stockers with 555 code would have blowed up long ago. As well, with the new injector, the car is running perfectly. So, could it be that the other 5 injectors in the car are just of an older variety, different brand, or is something else afoot? Other than the top color of the injector, the physical appearance was identical, down to the numbers/markings on the injector itself. If you guys don't know, I'm considering sending the injector off to an injector place to see if they can flowtest it, and see what on earth it really is.... Thoughts? -Jake
